eSIM not working? Don’t stress! Follow this guide to get you up and running.
- Disable VPN and any secondary SIM/eSIM lines (for dual SIM phones)
- Connect to Wi-Fi and disable airplane mode before scanning the eSIM
- Confirm mobile data is sourced from our eSIM (i.e. the correct eSIM profile is selected)
- Turn data roaming on (Android: select all network)
- Wait up to 10 minutes for activation to occur
- APN: Fast.t-mobile.com | Username: [blank] | Password: [blank] (Android: select manually)
- Set the network operator to automatic
- Restart your phone and/or turn on and off airplane mode

This eSIM took several hours and some enquiring phone calls to T-Mobile Support to activate upon arrival in the USA. Also, the 5GB calls & data add-on for Canada and Mexico did not activate automatically when I entered Canada and this required a call to T-Mobile to resolve. Once activated in both the US & Canada, I had good reception and download speeds pretty much everywhere, and I was happy with the service and cost.

Quick to respond to questions on the chat. Instructions were quite clear. Activated SIM in country instantly. Can be a little slow at times depending on users on network. Never dropped out.
