Troubleshooting Guide

eSIM not working? Don’t stress! Follow this guide to get you up and running.

Disable VPN and any secondary SIM/eSIM lines (for dual SIM phones)
Connect to Wi-Fi and disable airplane mode before scanning the eSIM
Confirm mobile data is sourced from our eSIM (i.e. the correct eSIM profile is selected)
Turn data roaming on (Android: select all network)
Wait up to 10 minutes for activation to occur
APN: cmhk | Username: [blank] Password: [blank] (Android: select manually)
Turn off automatic network selection and manually choose from the list below.
Restart your phone and/or turn on and off airplane mode

Great sim

Bought for a 16 day trip.
A bit fiddly to set up as I found the instructions weren't that clear. Set it up a few days before departure. When I landed had to reset phone for it to work, however has worked brilliantly the entire time. Never been any dropouts, even when quiet rural. Couldn't check my usage the way they suggested, and had to use the data monitoring on my phone. Today's my last day and I'm sure I've plenty left- used for navigation/ maps and basic internet usage and used wifi where able as ample in SK.

Very easy to installed the ESimm . coverage is very good in South Korea while I was here on holidays everywhere.👍👍

Once arrived Seoul/Incheon airport can access free WiFi than access eSIM from TravelKon it’s super easy just click the activation link and allows roaming it’s good value for money and easy thanks

All good, no problem connecting and data flow was smooth.

Excellent connections. No drop outs

Pretty easy to set up. TravelKon was super responsive with the initial setup via Whatsapp too, and was able to smooth out problems. Just be aware it is as described re: the Hong Kong provider!NO Tiktok access.

Very easy to activate before boarding. On touch down, it worked immediately and seamlessly through out my trip with no hiccups.
