- Manual APN input is required (if not automatic) – read troubleshooting guide
- Please check the use by date, no refunds will be provided for incorrect purchase
- For example you can activate/use the Japan SIM anytime and use the data until it finished or until the “use by” date.

- Check network coverage in your intended travel areas; Coverage issues are outside our control and we do not offer refunds
Troubleshooting Guide
SIM not working? Don’t stress! Follow this guide to get you up and running.
- Disable VPN and any secondary SIM/eSIM lines (for dual SIM phones)
- Turn phone off, remove the SIM, insert the SIM back and turn phone on
- Confirm mobile data is sourced from our SIM (i.e. the correct SIM profile is selected)
- Access Point Names (APN) details may need to be manually entered:
APN: plus.4g
Username: plus
Password: 4g - For Android phones including Google Pixel, Oppo and Asus phones, under the APN settings above, enter these details:
Authentication type: chap
APN Type: default,ia,mms,supl,hipri (copy exactly)
Disallow 2G and restart your phone - Set network operator as automatic, adjust to SoftBank if it isn’t
- Restart your phone and/or turn on and off airplane mode

My second time using TravelKon and I’ll definitely keep using their services. The SIM card arrived in time for my trip and I never had any connection issues throughout. Don’t bother with getting wifi devices because you need to worry about collecting them, returning them and charging them. Just get yourself a SIM card with TravelKon and save yourself the hassle 🙂
Currently in Japan using this sim. Works well in all the areas I have visited in Tokyo, Osaka, Nara and Kyoto and have not had any issues so far with congestion in tourist areas like others in my group who bought travel sims elsewhere.
Very simple and no settlings to adjust. A phone number would be good but I believe that is Japan-related not the SIM.
Was delivered on time but am yet to use the cards but I did use Travelkon cards for Europe last year & they were great
Very happy , quick shipping from travelkon (purchased the priority shipping as I was travelling in 3 days time). The SIM card worked asap when I landed, I was on the plane and it worked so well. The internet is fast for this sim. Highly recommend
