Important Notes

  • TikTok and ChatGPT will NOT work
  • Insert the SIM card upon arrival at your destination to avoid accidental activation outside coverage countries.
  • Activation required in HK & Taiwan, you will receive a text message with the KYC link upon arrival, click the link and follow the prompt – passport upload will required
  • Hong Kong or BNO passport holders must send their Hong Kong ID manually to us via email or live chat, as online registration isn’t available (for use in HK & Taiwan only)
  • Check network coverage in your intended travel areas; Coverage issues are outside our control and we do not offer refunds
  • There is no coverage in Pattani, Narathiwat, and Yala region in Thailand

Troubleshooting Guide

SIM not working? Don’t stress! Follow this guide to get you up and running.

  1. Disable VPN and any secondary SIM/eSIM lines (for dual SIM phones)
  2. Turn phone off, remove the SIM, insert the SIM back and turn phone on
  3. Confirm mobile data is sourced from our SIM (i.e. the correct SIM profile is selected)
  4. Turn data roaming on (Android: select all network)
  5. Wait up to 10 minutes for activation to occur
  6. Set APN and network operator as automatic, adjust only if not working
    6.1 APN: “cmhk” | Username: [blank] | Password: [blank] (Android: select manually)
    6.2 Turn off automatic network selection and manually choose from the list below.
  7. Restart your phone and/or turn on and off airplane mode
  8. Still not working? Chat with us live, we’re here to help!

Worked really well

I used this sim in Beijing, Hangzhou, Shanghai and Taipei. The sim worked seamlessly and I was able to access all western apps while in China. To ensure that sim works, you may need to restart the phone. All in all great product for China travel.

I placed order on 26th Feb and submitted. I thought it would arrive in a few days' time but on 4th March, your email advised you only received the order on 4th March and would process it. All those days of nothing happening. It then took a few days before it arrived in my mailbox even though my neighbour who recommended it told me the company is in Perth and should only take 3 days to arrive. Then I found out the need to register in Hong Kong and being not IT savvy, I am dreading if I could register it successfully on 26th March when I arrive in Hong Kong. Stressed!

Great sim& value.

Slight difficult to set up and register, but once that’s done, coverage is excellent in all countries. Would be better if there is more detailed instructions for set up.
Will buy again.
