Customer service was absolutely brilliant! Answered all my questions via Messenger prior to leaving for our trip. Once we arrived i just put the sim into the phone and it was good to go. Had great data throughout Bali and did not have to worry about running out. I would definitely recommend Telkomsel to all travellers.

Generally a good experience however I lost service twice … it seems because I made / attempted to make an overseas phone call. Doing so immediately cancelled the subscription which was VERY inconvenient … I had to buy a new subscription the first time and I didn’t bother trying to rectify it as I was leaving Europe the next day.
A better process would be NOT to allow a phone call and for the subscription to continue for the original term. Cancelling subscription is VERY inconvenient, notwithstanding that is what your subscription rules say.

We only travelled in Queenstown and to the ski slopes around Queenstown. Coverage was not good at the ski slopes, which is understandable. However it was also very patchy in the Queenstown town area. There were delays receiving messages via Whatsapp.
Customer service was good though. I had to order another eSIM for a friend and the QR code didn't come through overnight. I was able to get into contact with someone via Whatsapp and got a quick response. QR code was sent within minutes of contacting customer service.

SIM switch worked seamlessly on my Pixel 7. Added it before departing AU. Enabled it/switched to it upon landing in JP. Just remember to enable data roaming. Coverage was great in Kyoto, Hiroshima and Shibuya. We used WhatsApp, Messenger for calling.
I started my journey from Australia to Malaysia, Thailand and now in Singapore, so far my experience with Travelkon is extremely satisfactory. It is easy to use and no problem at all.

The installation was easy but I had a lot of issues with connection every time I landed into a new country (that’s listed within the plan) my internet would drop out. Customer service was helpful and responsive. However, there’s no app to keep to date with your data usage, connectivity status like other e-sim companies have on the market.
Setting up and activating the CMHK eSIM was straightforward and hassle-free. It connects to the China Mobile network in China. Initially, I encountered some sluggish connections on both iPhone and Android devices in certain areas, but disabling 5G resolved the issue. 4G speed proved to be more than sufficient.
For an 18-day trip with typical usage (excluding YouTube), 10GB of data is recommended.
